Could anyone please help me. My laptop (XP Pro) keeps blocking 1 minute after the system is up and running if it is plugged into the socket. In this case I have to forcely shut it down. The problem does not occur at all if the laptop works on battery only.

I tried to take the battery out and plug the laptop in the socket, but the same problem (complete blocking) re-occurs.

I assume it may be the hardware problem. Does anyone have an idea what i can do or what needs to be repaired.

    many thanks!!!!
