I have been having a real hard time w/ my CDRW/DVD Multi Drive when I wish to swap it out. I have two different DVD writiers, a floppy drive, a CD drive, and a secondary hard drive that I can put in my ultra base drive bay. With the two DVD drives always get an error message when I try to stop them using IBM's easy eject utility, telling me that another program is still accessing the drive. I've tried disabling the DLA on the drive but with no success. Does anyone have an idea as to what type of program could be giving me the trouble? As it is now I have to do a complete shutdown everytime I want to swap drives. I can't even eject the ultra-base for the same reason that the drive say's it's still in use.

P.S. Is it true that future Lenovo/Thinkpad products will no longer incorporate the track-point feature? This may be dumb, but that's one of the reasons I loved IBM's for so long! I hate touch-pads with a passion!! The sheer logic of the touch-point in convenience, ease-of-use, and conservation of movement is inarguable. I can't see why it never caught on with other manufacturers. Toshiba used it for a while... but no more... Is this truly the death of an era? Where's the outrage?!

    Thanks.
