I plan to carry my laptop everywhere I go (things have a tendency to 'sprout legs'). I have a 7 lb 15.4" laptop and it is not comfortable carrying and it doesn't fit well on an aircraft tray table.

Will the T60 fit the bill for weight to carry every day, everywhere? Will it fit on an aircraft tray table without issues?

    15" or 14"?

I got my 14" t43 for the same reason (last laptop was too heavy to carry around) and I carry it everyday without a problem. It also fits on an aircraft tray fine (not a ton of extra room, but it works). I'm not sure about the 15"er.

    I apologize: the 14".

I understand that the T43 and T60 are very similar in dimensions.

The 14" is well within the range of everyday carry options. I also have a 7-pound 15.4", and I carry that every day. The 14" T60 is much more foot-friendly.

The Fujitsu S is about a pound lighter if you want to shave a bit off.
