I'm all smiles today

The ThinkPad T43 has arrived from IBM and here I am posting in the forums. Looking at the body not much has changed other than the ExpressCard slot on the left side and (if you're so lucky) a biometric finger scanner on the lower right side. I have the 14.0" screen ThinkPad, 60GB 5400 RPM Hard Drive, Pentium M 750 1.86 GHz Pentium M, ATI X300 graphics card, 512MB RAM (I have to investigate the speed and configuration still, IBM shipped this review unit and there's no sign of what type of RAM they put in). Oh, and the T42 model numbering on the lower right hand side of the screen is changed to T43 of course [ ].
Bottom line is the ThinkPad T43 is the same solidly built, thin and light, oh so gorgeous to use and type-on laptop the T4X series has always been...just faster.

looking forward for the review and most importantly, what's changed in terms of battery life...

Does the DVD burner have the ability to write +Rs.? I heard that was supposed to be coming. No +R was the reason I went with an external unit.
I know things, things that could get me killed

I'd be interested in any graphic benchmarks... any framerates for HL2 or Doom3 would be awesome.
