I apologize if this question has been answered already, but this problem is really aggravating me!
I know this laptop isn't really meant for streaming and things like that, but occasionally I like to watch show online and it seems that whenever I do problems start occurring. I haven't noticed this problem when I'm not streaming, but that may just be me.
Alright, so whenever I try to watch a TV show online, I can usually get about 40-45 minutes into the show, but then the monitor will go black or white and won't respond to any key I try to press. The show will still be going on because I can hear it and it will continue until I close the monitor and the computer goes into standby or until I shut it off and reboot it. If I put the computer into standby and open it again, the monitor comes back on and will only allow about 20-25 minutes before doing it again! I thought it might have been an overheating problem, because the left side of the computer will be kind of hot, so I bought a cooling pad and it only gets a little warm, but the problem has continued! Those are the only details I can think of at the moment, but if you have any other questions, please ask them; I want this problem to be fixed, if possible. All help is much appreciated!
I, also, have another problem not connected to this one and I would like some input on it as well. I bought this laptop off my mother who bought it off her company when they went under. She wiped the computer and re-installed everything onto it, including Windows (I believe). Whenever I reboot the computer, a little dialog box pops up in the upper right hand corner of my screen and gives a few options. I will attach a picture of the box with this post and see if anyone has any suggestions about what to do with it. I have tried pressing the Reseal button and it did nothing!
I appreciate any and all help! I'm relatively n00b-ish when it comes to computers and their inner workings.

Tsunade_Hime such bacon. wow
Have you tried the latest display driver? Have you tried displaying it externally and seeing if it does it externally?

I have no idea what you mean.
Externally?
Display driver? -
On an external monitor is what they mean. The display driver is the software interface between hardware and the operating system. It's usually best to have the latest version, though not always.
