    Hi Folks,

I can use your input. Recently I purchased a used IBM ThinkPad 600 TYPE 2645 – 31U and the seller told me that memory for this model is upgradeable up to 512 MB however the User’s Reference for this model states the following. "Your computer memory capacity can be expanded up to 160 MB (32 MB base memory and two MB DIMM options". The seller will not return my email to explain the discrepancy. Which of the above statement is correct? Please provide details.

    Thanks in advance

I've used a max of 288 (256+ the 32 base) in that model. Get two sticks of 128 (either 66 or 100mhz will work, as long as it is IBM sticks).
