This unit's max res shows 1024x768, the video controller in the Device Manager has the yellow question mark.
I tried installing the ATI Display driver from here:
Video driver (ATI Mobility RADEON / FIREGL PCI Express-2) for Windows XP - ThinkPad R60, T60, T60p (20xx, 26xx, 87xx), Z61m, Z61p
but no change
-
What's the machine type? Are you running XP?
-
After installing the driver you must go into C>Drivers>Win>Display and run the setup file from there.
That's presuming that your T60 has ATi graphics to begin with, since Intel integrated ones were an option as well.
Good luck. -

OK here you go:
http://download.lenovo.com/ibmdl/pub/pc/pccbbs/mobiles/7ld140ww.exe
The same set of instructions regarding extracting the file applies. -
I don't know about this drive you linked to, when i attempt to run the steup from within the C;\drivers\win/video folder, I am getting a prompt which says:
This computer contains driver version, which is newer than the version you are about to install.
Are you sure you want to voerwrite the current driver with the older version 6.4.10.4926? -
Wipe the older folders where you had the ATi drivers installed in the Video subfolder, that should take the warning away.
If not, just ignore it and proceed, then run the setup file. -
Thanks, tried everything you mentioned but I got an error message while setup was doing it's thing and it closed itself.
-
Try installing the chipset driver first:
http://download.lenovo.com/ibmdl/pub/pc/pccbbs/mobiles/oss608ww.exe
Good luck. -
same deal, doesn't work
-
Well, at this point in the game I'd uninstall every video-related download imaginable and try one more time. Should that fail, get a set of recovery disks for T60 and call it a day.
Good luck.
