What's the machine type? Are you running XP?

After installing the driver you must go into C>Drivers>Win>Display and run the setup file from there.

That's presuming that your T60 has ATi graphics to begin with, since Intel integrated ones were an option as well.

    Good luck.

Sorry for not giving the proper info guys, the machine type is 1951, OS is XP. no matter where I install the ATI driver from, still no change so if this unit does not come with ATI Graphics then which other driver can I try please?

I don't know about this drive you linked to, when i attempt to run the steup from within the C;\drivers\win/video folder, I am getting a prompt which says:

This computer contains driver version, which is newer than the version you are about to install.
Are you sure you want to voerwrite the current driver with the older version 6.4.10.4926?

Wipe the older folders where you had the ATi drivers installed in the Video subfolder, that should take the warning away.

If not, just ignore it and proceed, then run the setup file.

Well, at this point in the game I'd uninstall every video-related download imaginable and try one more time. Should that fail, get a set of recovery disks for T60 and call it a day.

    Good luck.
