I am thinking about placing order for IBM T42, I have few questions about that:

    1) is is better to save 0,5kg or have larger display? (14,1' vs 15')
    2) which TFT is better in overall 15' or 14,1' ?
    3) how many PCIAMCIA cards can I use?
    4) can I find deep specification on that model - like toshiba .pdf's where I have everything including drawings of the computer from every side?

    kind regards,

I think the 14inch would be better. I use to think the 15 was the way to go and thats what I got. But now I wish I would have gone with the 14. The 14 will be smaller and lighter(this is good) the 15 screen is only very slightly bigger, but makes a big diff in weight and overall size of the notebook. I think the quality of the 2 screens are equal. Most IBM's come with only 1 of the PCIAMCIA(is that how its spelled??)slots.

This link has a list of pdf files for download that go into detail of various models and specs.
