    Hey all,

I purchased an IBM T41 lately, but I have a problem. When I tune to volume to the higher level, it makes a weird noise. It is a weird peep which will make you deaf.

Please help me, I am so desperated. Can I fix this problem? My IBM is not new, I am the third user, I think.

    Thank you very much,

    Hitman!

See if there are updated audio drivers. If that doesn't work, try disabling your IR port in the BIOS.
