    IBM T40 inverter - replace or reconnect?

    I took a pretty hard fall on the ice yesterday. Though my laptop was heavily padded in my backpack. the backlight on the screen is very dim. Is it likely that the inverter needs to be replaced or just reconnected? If the latter, will someone tell me how to do it.
