I tried reinstalling the drivers for each from here:

Drivers and software - ThinkPad T30

but doesn't work. Actually I am seeing 2 different setup files for the display, one is the "issetup" and the other ATI setup, installed both of them one at a time, laptop restarted but no change. Regarding the ethernet driver, all I am seeing in the C:\Drivers\WIN\Ehternet\PRO100\WINXP32 folder is an Intel Pro Adapter Uninstaller? Help?

I assume you're using Windows XP, I would try manually installing the drivers with the Device Manager and see how it goes. Just right click on the missing drivers and try updating the drivers by directing it to the DRIVERS folder on your C: Drive. Hopefully Windows should pick up the INF installation files to correctly install the display and ethernet drivers on your system.

So you tried both Lenovo Ethernet and Video drivers and they don't work? Just to make sure, try directing the video drivers specifically to "C:\DRIVERS\WIN\DISPLAY\Driver\2KXP_INF" to see if that makes a difference, for the ethernet try "C:\DRIVERS\WIN\Ethernet\PRO100\WINXP32".

If they still don't work you could try using generic drivers instead, try these drivers for the Ethernet and Video.

Tried all of those, doesn't work, does this mean hardware failure on the mobo?
