What stores, online and offline, are regarded to having the best prices for IBM notebooks? Or are good prices and IBM never compatible? :)

I've usually found CostCentral.com to have the amongst the lowest prices. eBay is another good place for deals. Just make sure you buy from a reputable seller. Thinkpads.com offers a 10% discount for 1st time buyers, 15% for repeat customers. They will also do a dead pixel check if requested. Keep in mind when buying on the internet, unlike geting it from IBM, there are usually no returns. Good Luck.

I would strongly suggest that you directly buy from IBM / Lenovo.

Go to www.lenovo.com and check out the special offers with upto 25% discounts.

If you know an IBM employee, they can get you the Employee Discount of 25 - 35% on the web price. I got a great deal with the employee discount and its one of the best deals you can get.

Alternatively, IBM has special schemes with Visa and Mastercard, where you get 10 - 20% discount on all models.

    Hope this helps
