I need to upgrade the RAM in a new T61 I just bought. All the links to how to do that timeout on the IBM website. Does someone have the document on how to take it apart?

If you look in the manual that comes with your T61, I believe there is a section on how to install a new stick of RAM.

Yes the support site seems to be down. I was just there to check on driver versions.

http://www.lenovo.com and its subs appear to be down to me. It works on the -307.ibm pages but for me it's slower than dial-up until the terms window's "agree" link is clicked. Downloading files seems somewhat slow but tolerable: 120-200 Kps.

AT&T are having issues, at least with their phone circuits. Maybe the route to lenovo.com from where I am goes through AT&T root servers.

Couldn't trace the route or even ping www.lenovo.com from here (unable to resolve target system name). Doesn't work from home, either, so this doesn't seem to be a problem specific to my office's network.

http://downforeveryoneorjustme.com/ says that it's just down for me.

Yeah, me and everyone else in this region whose packets are routed to lenovo.com through the same pipes.

It's the weekend. IBM/Lenovo has done website maintenance on weekends for as long as they've had a website. Check back late Sunday evening or Monday morning.
