Ok here is a mini review of the T43p
Specs: 14" SXGA+ display, 100 gig 7200 RPM drive, 128 Megs of ATI Fire 3200 Video RAM, Pent M 2.23 GHz., i1 gig of RAM)

    The good parts:
    > Very light weight for the power - 5.8 lb. traveling weight with adapter, SUPPORTS 20 and 24" widescreens with ThinkDock II with DVI port-! NEW to IBM T series and makes for a perfect desktop replacement !.
    > Lenovo made the keyboard even BETTER- they were getting pretty stiff- these are now absolutely perfect - to me and millions of others at least.
    > very speedy machine- they always can be faster but this is very fast.
    > I like the "stealth" black look
    > 128 Megs of Video RAM
    > Great wireless reception
    > 3 year warranty "out of the box"

    The not so good-
    > Screen could be a little brighter- but is more than usable and after a while you wont notice it.
    > 128 megs of Vid ram is good but would be better if it was ATI Fire 5400 with 16 video pipelines rahter than the 4 in the 3200- but Call of Duty plays perfectly on this mcahine- thats all that matters- right?
    > Pricey- this unit (albeit packed) was $2950- no dicsounts and was hard to find - had to buy it direct.
    > Could have had more ports- only 2 USB and no IEEE1394
    > Its one thing to buy a $29 screw gun made in China- do we really want to buy $3000 notebooks made in China?

But all the shortcomings are minor to me- the unit is as complete as a notebook can be- If you have the cash- buy it-
you wont regret your purchase. :buyIBM:
