    IBM Canada is being a pain about the 2378FVU...

    They said that they don't sell them, because it's US only.. If I were going to get make a model of similar specs, it would cost me around $2300 USD (as opposed to the $1850).. Is there anywhere else I can buy this product? I finally had my heart set on it, and now I'm angry. Even though I love it, I WILL NOT shell out the extra $500 just to get it.

    Then just find a 3rd party reseller of IBM that will ship to Canada. I've never bought direct from IBM as they always sell at the list price while the other resellers are usually much cheaper. Mwave sells the 2378-FVU for $1768USD.
    Of course if shipping outside the US there maybe other issues like I mentioned in this post.
