    I'm waiting for a discrete T61 SXGA+ or T61 WSXGA+

I know there is the 14.1 WXGA+ available, but I just don't think the compromise is worth it (size/weight, 4cell, etc)

I enjoy a few games now and then so x3100 is not for me. I don't mind 16:10 if they make the t61 15.4 available w/ discrete graphics, but I would prefer the portability of the 14.1 form factor.

    Who else is waiting?

I'm patiently waiting for a discrete 4:3, but all these multiple reports of BSOD's, even on the freshest machines, making me question my decision.

Are these happening with just vista, or are they with XP as well? I would think it would just be issues with the new chipset/drivers that they could resolve with better drivers... but what do I know.

This poll result ( http://forum.notebookreview.com/poll.php?do=showresults&pollid=1500) seems to say that it is mostly vista/nvidia combos where the problems are, but since that seems to be the most likely configuration, it is hard to tell whether it is more likely to happen on vista machines than those with xp.

I've been using a 14" SXGA+ Lifebook at work and I've decided that I really like this setup, so I'm definitely looking forward to 14" SXGA+ Thinkpads. Mostly concerned with how cool they run, since this Lifebook is a little hot.

I'm also a little curious how the NVS 140m compares to the x3100 when the drivers mature for the x3100 and start using hardware T&L (post-beta, when they can optimize a little bit).

    SXGA+ w/ 7200RPM might be a little warmer than other t61s...
