O own a T430s with a i7/NVS5200 graphics to play pinball arcade! How I would lust for a discrete graphics card solution like this one:
Alienware 13 Review: The First Futureproof Gaming Laptop

The Alienware laptop is so hideously ugly I could never consider one anyway. I I love the SPEC of my T430s on the CPU/MEM/Disk department.

It would be great if we could connect Lenovos to external graphics. We already have the docking port, so the technology is already available. I am now hoping some clever dude will invent a docking station with graphics, a slim device with nvidia 980m would be enough.

    What do you think..??

You can always hook up a eGPU with the hwtools adapter using the ExpressCard slot.

The biggest problem with that Alienware is the ULV dual core i5, pretty sure that processor will bottleneck most mid-range desktop GPUs. e-GPU were always silly IMO, get a desktop for gaming and a thin/light laptop, if you truly need portability and want to game.
