Everything works perfectly including F5 but I cannot seem to get Access Connections to take over from Windows Connections. It won't let me connect to a network like it usually did using the program.

Did you upgrade the wireless card in your T61 with an official Lenovo wireless card? From my experience, they modify the firmware in the cards and the Access Connections app may not work unless a Lenovo certified card is present.

If you do have a wireless card from Lenovo, you would need to use the official Lenovo wireless drivers, not the ones from Intel (or Atheros).

You are a genius. Simply put. I installed the Lenovo drivers and now everything works.

You probably need the Intel ProSet/Wireless Registry service enabled for Access Connections (AC) to work. If you downloaded just the drivers only package from Intel, AC will not work.
