    Hi everyone,

I noticed when I configured my z61t, I had the option to select the ThinkPad 11a/b/g/n Wireless LAN Mini-PCI Express Adapter, which got me curious. I did some research and found this page on Lenovo's site:

    http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/MIGR-61344.html

that talks about Mini PCI Express Card removal and installation. Does anyone know what a Mini PCI Express Card is? Is it the same as ExpressCard/34?

    Thanks,

    Michael G.

Its the slot for your wireless card. It is similar to a PCIe x1 slot on your desktop.

ExpressCard can connect to either the PCI Express x1 or USB 2.0 bus, but it's not the same thing as the internal Mini PCI Express card.
