I lost my Windows XP Pro. cd. I still have the Original Product Key. Could I use a friends Original Windows XP Pro cd and install it, and put in my Product Key ?? Would it work ?

If your key doesn't work you could probably call Microsoft and explain the situation, I'm guessing they'll activate it for you.

Otherwise call Lenovo, and they will send you a new one for a nominal charge; I know that sucks, but at least you'll have a disk.

I don't think it's illegal to copy the disk. The product key is what is important.
