    :)
The TP60P I ordered on May 21 has just arrived.
    8743CTO, 2 GHz, 2GB, 160 GB HD, ATI Mob. FireGL V5256,
No fingerprint reader, $1706 with tax.

The shipping took just 2 days.
Right now as the first order of business I am making a system backup.

How do I find out the type/model of the screen and keyboard?

    Thanks,
    Peter

go to control panel, device manager, click on you want to identify, right click and go to properties, and then go to details, then at the pulldown go to hardware ID's.

good luck, nice system. I hope you enjoy it :D

If that doesnt work, as it didnt with mine, you can download a program called PC Wizard 2007. It'll list the manufacturer's part number for most of the hardware. Just copy and paste the number into google.

Nope, i checked under Hardware IDs in the pulldown menu. What was listed was not the correct part number.

Peter123, you can also check for the FRU of part on IBM's site.
