    I have a T7300 but PC Wizard says i have a T7500?

    weird... it also states my operating frequency at ~2200mhz sometimes...

    Then either you made a mistake and ordered the higher one, or Lenovo gave you the higher one by mistake.

    Either way, be happy that you got an upgrade for free.

    For some reason I never really trusted PC Wizard. It reminds me of Norton for some reason. <shivers>

    CPU-Z is a more reliable source of info.

    I think you have a T7500. Keep in mind that all Intel mobile CPUs have SpeedStep in one form or another. I know that my T7200 goes from 2.00 to 1.86 to 1 (I use RMClock so it has a couple steps in between, I dont remember the exact steps but I do know 2.00, 1.86, and 1.00 Ghz are 3 of the ?? speeds it runs at). Perhaps when you ran the program it was not at its full speed?

    Like Tailic said, use CPU-Z. It is very popular and widely used for CPU identification.

    CPU-Z says T7300 also... i don't know why PC wizard was clocking my CPU at ~2200 mhz though..

    It probably saw your cpu overclocking the single core and became confused.
