    I did a reinstall of XP PRO SP2!

    Hey This is my first time using this type of Forum site! I'm not sure where 2 post a new question! But here it goes! I recently perfomed a new install of XP SP2 on a T41 Type 2373 that had a terrible virus problem. I think I jumped 2 fast 2 do it because now I can't get any of the drivers 2 install! I tried in safe mode and everything. I'm frustrated and confused. I know some body has the answer!!!

    What order did you install them in? This is very critical. After loading XP SP2 the first thing you must do is install the chip-set drivers. Did you do the quick format of the disk when asked if you wanted to?

    There are a number of posts on the forums (at least the Lenovo and Sony ones) here to doing a clean install of XP.

    No! I just randomly added the drivers! Um, I did a full format! How can I rectify this situation?
