Lenovo offers a DVD burner on their Thinkpad T60, but nothing else is highlighted. If I do not select the DVD burner, will I still get an optical drive? I want something that burns CDs and will read DVDs. I am concerned because Lenovo is known for making laptops without optical drives.

    Thanks for the help.

Unless you are buying X60, you will at least get the DVD-Rom. If you want something that burns cds and reads dvds then you should opt with cd-rw/dvd-rom
