    I Just got my T61: Questions

    So i just got my T61 and so far its great. I havent had any of the problems that i have been reading about on here. The keyboard is awesom, the screen doenst seem to have any poor viewing angles/ blind spots/ sparkle etc.
    Two things i ran into this morning that i thought you guys might be able to help me with.
    1. I have been trying to run the battery dead and recharge it, but it seems like the battery will only charge while the lid is open and the computer is on. Is there a reason for this?
    2. I got the fingerprint reader, and this morning when i opened it up it said the fingerprint reader was not attached...buts its built in.
    Solutions?
