This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I've seriously been counting days for this bloody memorial day sale to be over so they can bust out the T61p. Come on Lenovo, hurry it up.

    Pity that memorial day is reduced to sales... take some time to remember those who serve your country.
    I'm all up for getting a T61p, but sometimes there are more important things to focus on.

    Like what? If you're expecting Kebs to be less enthusiastic or not to think of the t61p, you're ... well, you fill in the dots. It's not your business to want others do such a thing, although I would myself recommend honouring those who served their country.

    But this is a lenovo forum, and IMHO, no place for taking a moral stance against someone else. I'm no mod, but I always say: don't post if you're not going to help. It saves space and bandwidth, our time (and ahem, my time). But alas, I'm no mod.

    Help? What help is there to offer to him? He was just making a statement and I responded.

    My response was not directed at him, but more of what we tend to do... is forget about what is behind memorial day.
