I'm thinking about buying a T60 notebook with the following spec:
Intel Core duo 1.83GHz
512MB DDR2
60GB HDD
Intel 950 Graphic
14.1" XGA
Around $1700
I won't be playing any games on this notebook so I don't think I need a powerful graphic card but how's the quality when it comes to DVDs? The only entertainment I need is watching DVDs with this notebook, I want to know if the Intel 950 makes a difference.
Edited: What exactly can the Intel 950 do? Can I run photoshop CS2 with it?
Thanks guys

photoshop isn't really influenced by video card - the screen is not updating quickly, it just waits for the processor to finish modifying the image then displays it.

Hello,
I was doing some comparisons myself the other day on notebook graphics capabilities and found this thread to be helpful:

Thanks to ChazMan421 for putting it together.
Hope it helps with what you need. -
Hmm for Photoshop make sure you bought T60 with IPS screen and for graphics yes you can run Photoshop/corel or anything about 2D graphics software very well on T60 and should you upgrade your ram at least 1Gig.

It is a much higher quality screen than the standard ThinkPads screen. It is brighter with better contrast and is more color consistant. Before they were only offered on the 15" models, but according to this thread if true are being offered on the 14" as well. It would be a first for the 14" model. My guess is if it true they are going to be pricey.
How's the Intel 950 Graphics on the T60?
