Hi all. Can you owners of these fine machines tell us how warm does the top and bottom of the T40/41 get? If I were to play a DVD movie for a hour and a half with it, can I still keep it on my lap? Some laptops are now coming with labels that says "Do NOT comtact with bare skin". It's kinda rediculous.

    Thanks in advance!

oh, it's certainly not a problem. My T40 has been sitting on my lap for the past 3 hours and it's really only slightly warm. It definitely won't turn your body into a heat sync if your watching a movie.

I think he has the PM 1.6. It might be the 1.4 though.
