    Dear Friends,

I finally got T60 today. Everything seems to be built fine except the keyboard. It is NOT as good as I saw last time on a bit older T60 with core deo. I think they have changed the materials used to built keyboard.

Just wanted to know if anyone knows how to use numeric keypad on this machine. Because I have to write articles in my native language and for that I need to use neumeric keypads for different symbols and character using code numbers. I used to do this in my old desktop.

They have used the keys J,K,U,I,O,7,8,9,0 in notebook keyboards as neumeric keypads. (Have you ever noticed on your keyboard?) I tried with pressing and holding Alt key but its not working. So my friends I would appreciate if anyone tells me about this things would be great help.

    Thanks! subi

    Hello,

Hold the Fn key, not the Alt key.

Thanks a lot marlinspike! It works with num lock and holding alt key (but not Fn key) but its rather disappointing. I think I should buy a newmeric keypad or USB desktop keyboard.
