Say, and this is hypothetical, that I attempted to do a clean XP Pro install, but couldn't get anything to work. I kept the recovery partition intact, but I have no idea how to use it. What should I download from Lenovo's site to be able to use the backup partition to restore my system?

    All hypothetical

http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/document.do?sitestyle=lenovo&lndocid=MIGR-68256 most likely. I haven't received my T61p yet so it's a hypothetical guess. Hope it works... hypothetically. :D
