My T61 (14.1'' wxga+ LCD, T8100 CPU) was bought in this May with the 1-yr basic warranty included. Today, I got an email from Lenovo service and they offered me options to upgrade my T61 warranty. I am interested in upgrading the warranty, especially for the Samsung LCD monitor. However, I am so confused by the upgrading options:

Can someone help me figure out what those part numbers are? If I upgrade the warranty as above, does the new warranty include defective part(s) replacement for free?

    thanks!

    I've T61p 14.1" & I would be interested in knowing too?

Is there a coupon or anything through which you can get a better deal?

Depot repair means you mail it in. Onsite means they fix it wherever you are. Yes it would include replacements for defective parts. You might want to check out the warranty guide.
