    Hi,

I need to uninstall the trackpad on the X220 such that it becomes inoperable. I use a program called Softest for exam taking. This program only boots up only the essentials such that only Softest works. Because of this, it doesn't boot up the ultranav device settings and I'm unable to turn off the trackpad. The trackpad works erratically when I use it during softest. I already went to device manager and uninstalled the "ThinkPad UltraNav Point Device" but that only uninstalled the program that allows you to manipulate the settings. Is there a way I can completely remove it from my laptop and reinstall drivers later?

Note: I cannot just put a piece of cardboard over the trackpad because that violates school policy.

You can disable it in BIOS.
