    Hi there,
After reading the interesting threads about clean install and changing OKR I need further advise please:

    I just got a y580 with 32GB SSD (mSata), 8GB RAM and 1TB HDD.
It works perfect out of the box!

The problem is that the standard C: partition is 917GB. I'd like to resize this to 250GB für Win7 only. The remaining space shall be used for my personal data, fotos, music and videos.

Reason for doing this is because the OKR always backups everything on the C: partition - I don't need to backup my 500GB videos once more. Same for music and my personal data is backed up daily.

Win7 allows - after defragmentation of course - only to shrink drive C: of about 300GB even though only 100GB are used. GParted can't do it either (terminating with an error)

I like the OKR feature and will keep it. Therfore a clean install is not the solution.

Thanks in advance for any hints

    Greetings from Austria
    Tim
