Hi All, I have an R52 and the battery pack is dying. It only gave me 10 minutes of life. I therefore changed the battery cells (the six li-ion battery cells inside). However, when I replug the battery pack back to the notebook, it still thinks that I have the battery with very little life (10% of a new thing).

Can anyone tell me how I can reset the capacity of the batter (zeroing the memory inside or something?) I have tried the to reset the batter guage (full charged, fully discharged then fully charged again) but there is no change to the batter guage reading, it still reports I have a battery that has only 10% of the capacity. As a result, it reports low battery within 10 minutes of fully charging a battery and stays in 5% for an hour or so before dying on low battery.

    Can anyone help please?

    Many thanks.
