    Hello,

I used the Rescue and Recovery tool and created an image of my T61's hard drive on an external hard drive. Now I want to delete the image file after I used it. The funny thing is that this file cannot be seen even after I set XP to display hidden files.

How can I remove this image file?

    Thanks!

I've done it I just can't remember how. What error messages do you receive.

there are several things to try. Turn the Shadow copy servive off try. If that won't work boot a distriibution disk and use their utilities sas Vista.

It's a partition. You'll have to use a Linux Live Disc and use a part manager to remove it.

From what I understand....you can only do it via the Rescue and Recovery utility.

If you have removed the R&R utility then you will never be able to find the file.

    Renee,

    Thanks for chiming in.

I did not get any error message. I am simply unable to see this file!

    >>Turn the Shadow copy servive off try

Could you please explain what this is? I have never done so before.

    Appreciate your help!
