Is there any way to reinstall Intervideo WinDVD after a clean vista install? I made a recovery disk and also backed up the program files to a dvd before my clean install. The hidden partition has been reformatted, it runs great. Anyone have any luck with that? Windows Media player just seems to lack some of the nice features such as fast playing with sound...

Did you back up your SWTOOLS folder? It should be under a folder called DVDPlay.

Have you reloaded Software Update? If so, you can run that and install it from there
