    How to re-enable hibernate with all these power options?

    i'm lost in te mix of windows + lenovo power options. i've lost the windows start -> hibernate option and dont know how to hibernate my lenovo laptop.

    i've tried the "powercfg /hibernate on" in command prompt, but i get the error "Access is denied" What is going on here?

    turns out the "access is denied" error was from my comodo firewall. disabled it and entered: "powercfg -h on" in command prompt and got my hibernation back. cool

    Great info. i was looking for the same thing.

    Will this also let me set things up so when i push the power button my system hibernates?

    My old thinkpad works that way and I want the feature back.
