    hi guys
i am trying to overclock this... i have tried several programs such as ntunes and riva but every time i try to change it and click "SAVE" it just resets it back to default (400/600mhz). Does anyone know why?

I'm on vista on Lenovos latest Quadro driver.

Really its good thing that ntunes does that. You should only overclock it when you need to. Atleast thats what i do anyhow.

I guess i missread the post. Mine saves it but when i reboot it goes back to stock clock speeds.

Try installing drivers from laptopvideo2go.com.. It might show up as a 8400M card, but it should let you o/c..

I use Rivatuner with no problems, and mine runs on 600/900 core/memory all the time when 3D is displayed.

there's a box that you check if you want rivatuner to apply overclocking on windows startup, use it.

also, the last two drivers from Lenovo couldn't overclock for some reason, but the current one works awesome :)

P.S. Rivatuner can overclock as much as you want (I can tell you how), but the stock overclocking limits do good job anyways.

    but I'm on XP

The drivers aren't OC'able thats why it is resetting back.
