    How to monitor power consumption in Win 8 without Lenovo's Power Manager?

    Is there a way to do this? The only other utility I've found that can monitor total system power consumption is Powertop. Unfortunately that only runs in Linux.

    Use perfmon and add a counter for battery discharge rate. There's also a handful of 3rd party tools like BatteryBar.
