    Hi,
    I have a T61. How do I make the reinstall disks? I only have a CD-RW so how many CDs will I need? Thanks!

    There's an application installed on the computer. Search for it.

    It may take ~11 CDs.

    Use the 'Create Recovery Media' utility in ThinkVantage tools.

    You can only create one set of recovery CDs (7 CDs or 1 CD+1 DVD in the case of WinXP). So once you have spawned your recovery CDs be sure to put them in a safe place. The recovery partition on the HDD will still continue to exist.
