    Hi Folks,

I have an T40 Thinkpad, and the hard drive is 40GB with something like 6GB in a hidden partition for the OS image in case of doing a restore. Anyway, I don't have a recovery CD, but I want to upgrade to a larger hard drive, how do I get a recovery CD without buying it from IBM ($50 or some rip off).

    Any strategies to share?

Get Acronis Disk Image Trial Version and do a complete system backup. Its free 15 day trialware but the recovery disk u create is exactly what u seek and has no trialware expiry date.
