Just replaced the standard hdd on my x220 with an Intel SSD and did a clean Windows install on it.

Performance is way up, but battery life is a lot lower :(

Can anybody elaborate on what kind of tweaks Lenovo puts on the Windows and bios, so I can get my battery life back to normal?

I'd rather not have to do an image from the standard HDD if I don't have to, as I have Windows 7 Ultimate on the SSD and I bought the laptop w/ Home Premium.

run the laptop for a day or two before performing battery tests. Sometimes post install the battery may be used up faster because you're installing all kinds of programs. Once there are no major changes to the laptop test running some youtube flash videos or hd movies and see how long it lasts.
Simply judging it based on "I feel the battery is shorter" doesn't really prove anything since the battery life will vary according to what you're using it for.
