    So I noticed newegg has the scorpio black 500 gb HD for 60 bucks. Ive read through alot of posts that rave about this hard drive. I have a 250 gb 5400 rpm hard drive but I would love to keep that one and add the scorpio and remove my CD/DVD player. I know there is a caddy or something that lets me do this but is it a difficult thing to do?

    This is on a t420.

    No. Although I've never done it, the procedures look easier than adding in RAM. Taking out the optical drive is literally pushing on 2 tabs (this, I have done), and is very simple. Putting the new disk in the caddy should be self-explanatory, and you just have to slide it in.
