I figured out a combination of programs that will make your Lenovo laptop so cold that the bottom of it will be freezing!

    1) Download CPUGenie and undervolt your CPU.
    2) Download TPFanControl and set fan to 7.
    3) Open laptop and clean out fan (if it's old).
    4) Let it run like this for 15 minutes

Your laptop will now be freezing which is very good for it! Better solution then thermal paste etc!

My CPU while running Google Chrome, Music, 5-other programs is at 29 Celsius!

I'm not sure if this was intended to be serious or humorous. :p

Why, 29 Celsius is not good for CPU? This is a perfect and easy solution.. Not to mention a good combination of programs.

Does that TPFancontrol setting make your fan run nonstop?

Yes, but fan sound doesn't bother me.. Why, would it be stressful on the fan..? BTW: Go Habs Go!!

I wish I could do that on my Dell. I rather burn out a $5 fan instead of other expensive parts. :p

That makes me wonder, just how long do laptop fans last in general. I've never heard of one dying nor have I had one die.

If you clean up the fan every couple of months, take care of your laptop, it shouldn't die as far as I am concerned. Then again, I wouldn't know.. Mine is still going very well.

well...it'd just consume more power than necessary

i'd rather run my laptop slightly warmer

but yea, undervolting is a great way to make your laptop run cooler
