Hey guys, so I bought a 3rd generation X1 Carbon and I'm trying to install the LTE adapter, but it seems like the Gobi5000
    EM7355
    04X6038

gave me a BIOS level error message saying that it was unsupported and that I would have to remove it and reboot to be able to use the computer? Is there a way to make sure I get the correct model?

Btw, the machine also doesn't seem to have a GPS antenna - is that normal?

I went through this exact issue last week with a client machine, very annoying but it looks like Lenovo has updated the white list for the latest X1C.

You need the EM7345, the EM7355 was for last generation (even though it has a higher model number) and has been blocked by Lenovo. Since making the swap WWAN has been working without issue.
