    Hi,

I have an X61 with 4 cell battery and want to upgrade to 8 cell because I always have to work outside and need a longer battery life. According to the information from lenovo's site, the price of the 8 cell battery is nearly $180, and on ebay, there is much cheaper one with price is around $80.
I wonder that is there a way to distinguish that two type of battery ? :) Would using Power Management software from Lenovo help us to find out ?

    Regards,

p/s: sorry for my bad English

Well the ones on eBay that I've seen either have the logo (OEM) or not (third-party).

If the description says it's "compatible" then it's not genuine IBM/Lenovo.
