I was trying to make a recovery CD, but it only burned like 250mega one the dvd and said it was successful. The bay opened. I took the cs out and then it asked me to put a new cd in? I am confused.

Normally you'll need 1x CD and 3x DVD's to create your set of Recovery Discs. The first disc is used to initialise the recovery procedure, the rest simply stores the OS data and files.

Or you can use 4 DVDs.

Just call Lenovo and tell them you are having issues burning a set of discs...and the OS will not let you burn one because it thinks you successfully created a set (which you didn't).

They overnighted me a free set of restore discs just for asking. For the record, I really did have issues. I created a USB restore drive and it never worked. Went to create discs and I had already used my one and only restore. Annoying.

He didn't say he didn't complete the set successfully.

I thought it was supposed to go on 1 CD. Stupid me.
I am now burning it on 1 cd and 3 dvds.

It isn't your fault. The instructions on the screen aren't clear.
