My computer is making fan noises even though my temperatures are all pretty low and i'm web browsing (~40 for all cpus, 25 for hdd, 35 for gpu). I want to make it silent instead. I'm not sure if it's because of the GPU fan (the noise generally stops when I close the lid). The power management tool for the Y500 sucks and gives you no options for the fan. Oh and one more question...should I have power saving for the HDD (in power options) enabled if I swapped the HDD for a SSD?

    Thanks!
