    How to connect T500 with an external monitor as dual displays?

    I’ve tried to connect Samsung 2443BWX to T500 as dual displays (extended display mode), so that I could use both screens at the same time. I am using Vista Business 32-bit.

    How do I accomplish this? I’ve spent a few days figuring out the way, but no avail. What should I do?

    That is very weird because as soon as I plug in an external monitor to mine, Vista jumps to ask me if I want to extend desktop, clone, or single display. What exactly is the problem? Are your video drivers okay? Are you using a custom Vista OS? Stripped of some features?

    right click the desktop and go into the catalyst control center then display manager if you have the discrete graphics. if you have integrated i have no idea.

    Thanks a lot! I was able to connect the external monitor as dual displays alright. Now the problem is that the external monitor was set as main, and I want the other around: T500 as main and Samsung 24'' as extended. Is there a way to accomplish this?
