    How to Recover My Data...

    I have Lenovo NoteBook installed Vista.. When i start my system it shows BOOTMGR Missing. So i tried to System Recovery from NOVA Button (Option Button Nova in Lenovo NoteBook). But I lost my Data.

    Can any one help out how can i get back my lost data (some Word & Excel Files) back. Is there any possible to get back.

    So you recovered it and it works, but it overwrote the drive?

    Sounds like you did a system restore from the recovery partition?

    Talk about the data some more. Where was it? What kind was it? Did you have a backup of it? You may as well get us the steps that you went through to get from 'data' to no data.
